WordPress MultiSiteManager released

MultiSiteManager (MSM) is a WordPress plugin which will perform two of the most important tasks of an administrator: backups and upgrades. MSM can manage any number of WordPress installations from one “master” WP installation. (To manage a WordPress website with MSM, you need FTP access to the site.)
Especially in times of mass hacks and surges of WP exploits, I think this plugin is very good news.

Die Idee zu diesem Plugin ist wirkich super. Ich werde es die Tage mal an einigen meiner Blogs testen. Wenn alles funktioniert, werde ich alle damit managen.

Hi!
Das Plugin klingt klasse und ich habs versucht zu testen. Versucht. Da ich nen Server mit Plesk hab wird alles in httpdocs abgelegt. Bei der Konfiguration kann ich zwar httpdocs eingeben (und er sagt auch, ja ok), aber dann werden die Unterordner nicht gefunden bzw sind nicht lesbar. Mh, ich hab das Gefühl das hier zwischen Serverpfad und URL gemixt wird - oder? Ich hab zumindest verschiedenes versucht und es nicht zum Laufen bekommen.

Hast Du evtl. das WordPress in ein Unterverzeichnis installiert, d.h. ist bei Dir die Blog-URL eine andere als die Installations-URL?

Great plugin ! very useful ineed if it works well because there is no guarantee of when server can crash leading to loss of entire blog.
